Neighbor Harvesting08/09 Family Bonus Winners

Common Cents announces top NYC family-participation schools

Congratulations to the 5 schools in New York City which won the 2008 Family Bonus contest. Each of these schools have earned an additional $250 for its student’s roundtable for grant-making to the charities of their choice.

The parents at these schools responded to our challenge to work together as a family to gather pennies and help children improve their community. In addition to Penny Harvesting with their children, these parents mailed in “Family Bonus Cards” to indicate their support of their children’s Penny Harvesting.

Here is a list of the Family Bonus winners throughout NYC:

Bronx PS 70 Max Shoenfeld
Brooklyn Al-Noor School
Manhattan PS 368 Hamilton Heights *
Queens PS 104 Bayswater School
Staten Island PS 29 Bardwell

*Highest percentage city-wide.
We hope you enjoy working together as a family to gather pennies and help improve your community!
