PENNY HARVEST 07/08
In 07/08, record numbers of students at 788 schools gathered pennies and then came together in December at the Penny Harvest Field at Rockefeller Center, a block-long display showcasing the roughly $700,000 collected during the harvest that students allocated to over 1,500 grants to community organizations and neighborhood service projects. As impressive as these citywide accomplishments are, we are excited to celebrate the successes of each individual school.
